Then we figured out a way to help DPC doctors share the love.

We’re a team of living, breathing, active DPC patients who are creating content for the direct care industry every single day. We know how life-changing having a personal relationship with a doctor can be - we know because we’re living it. And how could we keep it to ourselves? That doesn’t seem right. We really believe in the impact DPC can have on everyday people just like us. And we happen to have a unique understanding of how to help business owners see that value too.

We launched GOOSE to remove the barriers to marketing for DPC doctors and providers. We’re here to provide simple answers to complex questions and then map out the action steps. We’re here to take the expense, time-suck, and is-this-even-working factor out of marketing DPC. We’re here to empower our clients - the doctors and providers - to help people actually get the course-changing care that they need. People just like us.

GOOSE is led by a former benefits broker, current DPC patient, and employer with a DPC-led benefits strategy.

The first time I came across DPC was in my professional career as a health benefits broker. A small town doctor walked into my office and explained that he’d converted his traditional family care practice into a direct primary care practice. He asked if I’d include his offering with some of my employer groups.

My first thought was, "huh?"

Over time, I began to understand that this thing could actually be the answer to some big problems I was trying to solve for my clients. And it was. Not only that, it became the solution to almost all of my personal healthcare needs for both myself and my family. Offering DPC to our employees was one of the first things we did when we launched our first marketing agency.

As I began helping DPC providers market their practices I quickly found one big problem: the dollars didn’t work. These providers needed everything, and I mean everything from a marketing standpoint. By leveraging my experience as a broker and as an employer, I could help them shorten the learning curve and win group business easier and faster. But money doesn’t usually grow on trees for entrepreneurs of any kind, and that includes DPC providers.

So I got really determined to share the DPC story with everyone that would listen. And then with experience, trial and error, proven methods, and a second-to-none team of advertising professionals, we decided to do it at scale. The plan? Make industry-disrupting, proven marketing content available to every DPC practice. Pair that with teaching, training, guidance and tools for how to actually use it successfully without the fluff, and make it affordable, accessible, and transparent for everyone.
